Eurovision time is almost upon us again, I must admit I do keep my eye on this thing each year for some unknown reason. This year it is being held in Belgrade on the 24th of May and here are a few gems that have qualified so far:

Now this is Spain's entry, the song is "Chiki Chiki" by Rodolfo Chikilicuatre. Now at first he might look like a complete tool but I challenge you to not have this song stuck in your head after a couple of listens - El Robocop!

Zeitgeist and Year Zero reviews coming. In the meantime after falling off the radar since his 1968 smash hit video The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins, Leonard Nimoy popped up in the mid-ninties in the Closer film clip with special guest Shatner's bassoon.

Not sure quite what to make of this. Is it the dancer in the yellow jumper, the shoulder shrug, the forehead touch, the creepy looking old guy hanging with young girls singing about dragons, the rope climbing, the over-sized ring twirl, the clothes being thrown from behind the rock with the tree branch, the fake ears, the stance or Leonard fucking Nimoy and his last name?

Fucking black but really funny.

So I was playing around with iMovie and this is my first attempt at a slide show.

The quality went to the shitter when I transformed it into a .mov file, so if anyone knows what I did wrong, let me know.

The first part of the movie shows our trip to Hokkaido and Gifu and the rest is general stuff close to home.

PS. I know there are many long, lingering shots of me on this, but Shizuka is the only one who gets it together enough to dig a camera out and as such most of our photographs seem to be of me. Sorry about that.
